This book is part of the Always Here grief companion series.
It was written to meet you in moments when nothing needs to be fixed and words are hard to find.
There are no stages, timelines, or expectations inside. Just steady presence, honest language, and space to breathe.
You can open it anywhere, read a few lines, or close it again. There is no right way to use it.
Inside, you’ll find something that is:
• Gentle and grounded
• Written from lived experience
• Meant to be read slowly or in fragments
And intentionally not:
• Clinical
• Prescriptive
• Focused on productivity or “moving on”
This book is fully written by the author and can be used entirely on its own.
Some readers choose to use optional AI-supported companion prompts alongside it for additional reflection. These are not required in any way, just an added layer of support if you want it.

I have started reading this book. So fa r it has helped me understand a lot. I am not crying for my soul fur baby as much. I miss him terribly. Highly recommend this book
My wife and I just had to say goodbye to our old rescue Terrier mix, who had dealt with multiple health problems over the last year.
She overcame all of them except the tumor in her head, which grew to the point that she started to suffer. We made the agonizing decision to say goodbye and this book has definitely been a source of comfort and provided some food for thought.
I would recommend it to those who have recently lost a dog or know they probably will be losing one soon.
You helped me greatly. I put my hand to my heart every time I’m missing her, knowing she IS in my heart. I will never really lose her.
Thank you for that.
Absolutely heart wrenching and comforting. This book has been a great comfort to me after losing my sweet dog. I lost her a month sgo today, and I miss her so much.💔🐾
This book is beautifully written and says exactly what I needed to hear! This author has a way of explaining just what I have been feeling and am still grieving even though it’s been over a year now since she passed….and that’s okay!! 💔😭
Reading this awesome book has helped my shattered heart after Andie passed away.
We were inseparable for fourteen years and I
miss her sweet face and soft fur. I am reading the book slowly and marking the pages I want to reread.
Thanks for the quick delivery!
Great book. Very comforting and heartfelt to those of us who value our pets as a member of the family. Would recommend to others!

Wonderful reading
Good book !
Grateful I purchased this. Helps me daily. Highly recommend.
They were my reason to open the door and step outside. And then they were gone and I no longer wanted to step outside. This book helped me grieve so that opening the door - while still painful - at least is possible again.
I love this book so glad I got it. I lost my baby 2 months ago and it has been so hard the suggestions in this book have helped me. I have lost many dogs in the past but this one has left a big hole in my heart. Thank you for this book it has helped me understand things
It was a good read and gave me some much-needed comfort after the loss of my soul dog to hemangiosarcoma. I plan to read it again, as I'm sure I will take away different things now that I am just over a month into my grief journey.
Just what ineeded
This is a great help, because it acknowledges the many feelings that follow the death of a treasured companion.

Took to long to receive. But it was an excellent read and is a helpful tool for me. I strongly recommend it!
Perfect book for my sister who lost her rescue companion of 3 years after a cancer diagnosis and only about 5 weeks from diagnosis to her end of life🐾
