Pet Loss Community Program
Help Us Bring Free Pet-Loss Support to 1,000 Communities
|
A complete digital copy of When a Pet Dies, freely available for the people and families you serve. Always Here is working to make When a Pet Dies available through 1,000 organizations caring for animals and the people who love them. Veterinary practices, pet hospice and euthanasia providers, cremation and memorial services, animal hospitals, shelters, rescues, pet-loss support organizations, and other animal-care organizations are invited to participate. There is no cost to your organization or your community. |
What We're Offering
We create a dedicated pet-loss resource page for your organization that you can share with anyone in your community experiencing the death of an animal they love.
Your page includes your organization's name and logo, information about the complimentary resource, and immediate access to the complete digital edition of When a Pet Dies.
You receive a permanent link that can be shared from your website, in aftercare emails, through a QR code, on printed materials, or directly with a grieving family.
We build and maintain the page. You simply share it if and when it's useful.
No Strings. No Hidden Funnel.
We mean that literally.
There is:
No cost.
No contract.
No advertising.
No email collection.
No account or checkout.
No sales follow-up to your community.
No requirement to promote Always Here.
We don't believe access to grief support should require someone to become a lead.
When someone you serve opens the resource, they receive the book. That's it.
What Your Community Experiences
Someone visits your dedicated page and immediately sees that When a Pet Dies has been made available as a complimentary resource for your community.
They click OPEN THE BOOK.
They can read the complete digital edition online, save it, return to it later, or share it with someone else who may need it.
They aren't asked for an email address.
They aren't sent through a checkout.
They aren't placed into a marketing sequence.
They're simply given the resource.
Why We're Doing This
My name is Jesse Kuhn. I'm an author, Certified Grief Educator, and a widowed father raising three little girls who deeply love animals.
Our family has adopted, loved, cared for, and eventually grieved many animals. They have also been an enormous source of companionship and comfort through some of the most difficult years of our lives.
I originally wrote When a Pet Dies as part of the seven-book Always Here grief-support series.
Eventually I realized this particular book might be able to do something more valuable than simply sit on a bookshelf waiting to be purchased.
It could be given away.
Organizations working throughout an animal's life already do extraordinary work caring for our pets and the people attached to them. Many are also there during the final days, difficult decisions, death, and immediate aftermath.
We created this program as a simple way to help extend that care a little farther into bereavement.
Our goal is to make the book freely available through 1,000 of those organizations.
One community at a time.
Who Can Participate?
If your organization cares for animals or supports the people who love them, there's a good chance this resource is appropriate for your community.
This includes veterinary practices and hospitals, emergency veterinary services, pet hospice and home-euthanasia providers, pet cremation and memorial services, animal shelters and rescues, adoption organizations, pet-loss support organizations, animal welfare nonprofits, and other organizations involved in the human-animal bond.
If you're unsure whether your organization fits, submit the form anyway. We're happy to take a look.
Request Your Complimentary Resource Page
If you'd like to make When a Pet Dies freely available to your community, we'll create the resource page for you.
Simply use our existing contact form and include your organization's name and website in your message. We'll take it from there and be in touch with your custom page.
There is no cost, contract, sales call, or onboarding process.
We'll only use this information to create your resource page and communicate with you about it. This form does not subscribe you to an email marketing list.

Please send them this page:

There is no referral program and no credit to claim. We're simply grateful for every introduction that helps the book reach another community.
About Always Here
Always Here is a grief-support book series created by author and Certified Grief Educator Jesse Kuhn and published by Torchbearer Press in St. Louis, Missouri.
More than 8,000 copies of the series have found their way to readers navigating the death of a spouse, pet loss, disenfranchised grief, relationship loss, and other experiences of grief.
The Pet Loss Community Program is our way of making one of those resources available beyond the traditional boundaries of buying and selling books.
Thank you for the work you do for animals and the people who love them.
